“Come close to God, and God will come close to you…” (James 4:8, NLT) God promises that He will draw close to you when you draw close to Him. How do we draw close to Him? First of all, this verse goes on to say that we must turn away from sin because sin separates us from God. When we turn away from the things that displease Him, we are turning toward Him. That’s the first step. Then, the Bible tells us to come into His presence with thanksgiving in our hearts and give Him praise. When you have a thankful heart, you are drawing closer to Him. Thirdly, scripture tells us that God opposes the proud, but He gives grace to the humble. When you live with an attitude of humility, you are drawing closer to Him.
Friend, there’s nothing more important in life than drawing close to God the Father. Seek Him with your whole heart, and you will find Him. Let Him speak to your heart by reading your Bible, praying and meditating on His promises every single day. Worship Him with a humble and open heart because when you seek Him, you will find Him, and He will fill you with His peace, comfort and joy all the days of your life!

Unfortunately societal values have warped us into thinking that “attractive” is something very limited and specific.
You are not beautiful because of the world’s standards. You are beautiful simply because God has made you in His image.
You were made in GOD’S image. Perfection Himself. HIS image. You are not ugly or unwanted. You were made in Perfection’s image.
Which means one is not prettier, more desirable, or more worthy than another. We were all made to reflect God’s glory. He didn’t mess up. He didn’t neglect you or favor someone else more.God created every detail of your face, body, hair, skin, nails. All of you features were crafted carefully with love and intimacy.

I don’t know who you are right no or what is going on inside in your head. You may be scared. You may be facing something that is much bigger than you. I don’t care about how hard is the time you’re in right now.

I just want you to know that right now God is making all things work together for your good, no matter how messed-up they may seem right now. You are saved because of your faith in Jesus Christ, not by what you did. You may have sinned a while ago, but you know what? All your sins have been dealt with at the cross. You need not worry. You have a right to come forward to God’s throne of grace and make your request. Pray. Worship. Praise Him. You have a right to do so because you are His child. And I assure you, your Father will answer you. He loves you so much. Don’t let anything or anyone tell you otherwise. You fail here, but He will still uphold you. He has great plans for you. Come boldly to His presence. Jesus has justified you with His blood.
